R.P.S. Hospital Was Inaugurated on June 14, 1998 by at that time Worshipful Mayor Dr.G.Soodamani. R.P.S. hospital is situated near the seelanaickkenpatty fly over. Hospital is the land marks for most of the people. It is easily approachable by the surrounding villages like Mallur, Attaiyampatty, Kondalampatty, Elampillai , Vembadithalam, Ayothiyapattanam, Valapady, Panamarathupatty and also from Salem Gugai , Old bus stand, Agraharam etc.

Hospital is having wide parking area in front and also in the sides. It has got good looking elevation. Total built up area is more than about 18000 sq feet’s. It is 50 bedded hospital. Having well ventilated rooms both for air and sunlight. It is having 8 feet corridor, marble flooring and side wall tiles. For patient benefit lift also available. One side ramp available for all the three floors. Generator supply is available for entire building and lift.

The owner of the hospital is Dr.Sundaramoorthy.M.S., he is experienced laparoscopic and general surgeon. He is an active Rotarian. He is doing more number of free camps for poor people every year at this hospital and also surrounding villages. Hospital is opened for 24 hours. Hospital is receiving Accident cases, Poison cases and also Cardiac and respiratory emergencies at all the time. Having sufficient staff nurses, nursing assistants and ayas.

Computer facilities available for billing purposes. Two overhead tanks and underground sumps are available for water management. Hospital is doing services for the poor people with less cost.
